Hello, Windows Fans! A big part of my working day is spent troubleshooting Windows server, windows 10, 11. Also XP, Vista 7 8 8.1, 2008, 20012, 20012R2, 2016, 2019. Cloud, on-prem (shout out to the on prem heros) and hybrid. It is worth adding all those commands to one big page so I can CTRL-F and find them all. It’s a work in progress. Sometimes you have a USB stick that you cant format or recognise from Windows. Maybe you used DD to write Pop_OS to it and now shitty Windows no longer recognises it as a USB stick?! You can’t format it from File Explorer OR Disk Management. Oh no! Using cmd/powershell: diskpart list disk select disk X attributes disk clear readonly clean create partition primary select parttion 1 format fs=fat32 quick Hopefully that sorts it.

Introduction I am pleased to launch my first publically accessible project. leefuller.io/element This is a hosted instance of the Element Matrix client. It can be used to sign-in to any Matrix server and register accounts. Why use it? It is hosted directly on CloudFlare pages (along with the rest of my site) - so it is reliable and fast. It has the ‘Labs’ flag enabled in config, so you can toggle the experimental features not enabled in the ‘production’ version of Element.
